700 Series Universal Test Systems
The advanced Universal Test Systems are ball screw driven test stands, excellent for affordable, precision tensile and compression testing of a wide variety of materials or products. These variable speed testers have increased speed ranges, can perform compression tests and tensile tests without the need of special adapters or cages and include adjustable travel limit switches. Sturdy ball screw drives allow for smoother operation and precise crosshead positioning. 500 pound test stand is single screw drive, all others are twin screw. Stands include the ComTouch® Total Control system. System requires either a USB Series S-block Load Cell or ULP Series Low Profile Load Cell. These load cells are not included in the system price and sold separately. These systems benefit from supporting a wider range of load cell capacities than other Com-Ten systems.
