Calibration

My equipment needs caligration. What do I do?  Rate it

If you have a DFM, DMC, ComTouch or Centor digital displays remove the display. Send the display and any load cells to Com-Ten for calibration. Consult your operator's manual for removal instructions. For fastener testers the load cell assembly is removable. FG and CFG series load cells are also removable. It is recommended NOT to return the complete tester because of damage in shipment. Include a name and phone contact with the equipment.

How does your calibration process work?  Rate it

Your equipment is received and inspected for problems. A pre-calibration process is completed to ascertain the health of your equipment and it's ability to calibrate. If all goes well five readings are compared to the reference standard and recorded at 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% and 100% of full scale. Adjustments are made if necessary to assure accuracy.
A printed report of results is returned with the equipment. As found data and multiple readings are available at extra cost. Please contact Com-Ten Industries with your needs.

What is the content of the serial data?  Rate it

Serial data from the Centor consists of force, horizontal tab then deflection if your Centor is equiped with a displacement measuring device.
