Key features

T-Drive series
Testing machines for tensile tests

The T-Drive tensile tets stands are specially designed to perform tests in tension only. These are ideal instruments for measuring force on plastic samples, cables, terminals, adhesives, crimps and on various other types of materials. They are designed to perform simple or complex tensile tests in quality and production laboratories.

The T-Drive’s range is particularly suited to the following tests: breaking of wire terminals, lugs or cables, elongation of plastic, peel tests, coefficient of friction tests and tensile break of numerous materials, including fabric, cord, rope, metal, rubber and plastics.

The mechanical test bench for tensile test is made of rigid material and available in 9 versions:

  • 3 capacities: 1,000 lbf, 2,000 lbf, 4,000 lbf
  • 3 sizes: 20 in travel (S size), 30 in travel (M size), 40 in travel (L size)
SPIP load cell
Interchangeable plug and play load cells

This testing machine is equipped with an S-block load cell and offers high performances in terms of accuracy and repeatability. It is possible to connect various load cells with different capacities on the test stand thanks to the technology of automatic recognition of the load cell.

The movement of the sensor is done through the mobile slider guided by a precision rail which enables a low friction and low-maintenance, pre-stressed ball lead screw which guaranties a minimal slack.

The table of the test stand is equipped with threaded rod to attach various grips and fixtures.

Califort, easy to use material testing software

Califort comes with an extensive list of pre-defined calculations, which can be performed automatically during your tensile or compression tests. It includes standard calculations such as the maximum, minimum, average, or the break force but also more sophisticated calculation such as the modulus of elasticity, slope calculation by the method of least squares etc.

The movements of the testing machine T-Drive CC are defined in Califort under motion sequences form. Each sequence can be customized to run up, down, at different speed and with a stop condition (i.e. breaking point, force at position, time, travel position etc). It also offers a cycling feature for repetitive action with a limit of 255 cycles - for instance: pull 5 times on a cable before measuring its tensile strength or achieve 3 pre-loads on a spring before measuring the stiffness.

Recommended operating conditions:

  • Power supply: AC 110 to 220V
  • Operating temperature: 33 to 90 °F
