The PEELTEST F88 includes two vise grips to hold samples securely and prevent them from slipping during testing. With a width of 15mm, these clamps hold the sample across its entire width. Their U-shape allows the specimen to be positioned against the bottom of the clamp for easy alignment during tensile testing.

The PEELTEST F88 includes a double-bladed knife for sample preparation. With this knife, specially designed to cut 15mm or 25.4mm wide samples, you get samples of the same width every time.
Identical samples are essential for accurate, repeatable measurements. For example, an error of one millimeter in the width of the sample results in a deviation of 6% in the calculation of the average.

The PEELTEST F88 is supplied with a high accuracy load cell allowing measurements up to 20N and designed to give repeatable results with very low drift over time. Force measurement accuracy is 0.1% of transducer capacity, with an acquisition speed of 1,000Hz..
The sensors are also equipped with SPIP technology, which stores all calibration parameters in the sensor and automatically monitors sensor drift. This means you can interchange several sensors, which are automatically recognized by the testing machine and maintain their accuracy. It is therefore possible to have several sensors of different capacities on a single machine, or to have a backup sensor to avoid downtime during calibration periods.
Each transducer is delivered with its certificate of calibration featuring a record of tensile and compression measurements. Transducers are calibrated just before shipment. The standards used are connected to international systems.
The PEELTEST F88 is controlled by Califort software. This PC software (Windows 11 recommended, PC not supplied) enables advanced testing with sequence programming. It acquires force/displacement measurement curves and automatically records the results of your measurements (curve, average, etc.)
Califort software allows you to export your data to Excel for use in a database or for further analysis. It also edits pdf reports for archiving or transmission to customers..
The PEELTEST F88 has pre-configured programs depending on the type of test: 1, 2 or 3 welds; plastic or paper materials... It features an automatic average force calculation that removes the 10% from the beginning and end of the curve as required by the standard.
But these programs can be customized for other types of test if required (material resistance, syringe testing, etc.). You simply define sequence by sequence what the frame is to perform (up/down, speed, stop conditions) and what calculations are to be made. Once programmed, sequences are saved and password-protected. All the operator has to do is load the program and press "start" to launch the test.
